DAAD works to foster connections between scholars and institutions in Canada and their counterparts in Germany by offering a number of programs to strengthen the links between academe in Germany and Canada.

Research

DAAD along with several other German funding organizations offer programs to support research-related stays in Germany by faculty. DAAD's Visiting Professorship program may be of interest to faculty wishing to teach at a German university.

Faculty Mobility

DAAD programs support stays in North America by faculty and researchers from Germany, either to take part in a conference / workshop or to present a lecture series. Our German Studies Conference Funding fosters the continued study of modern and contemporary Germany on this continent.
