DAAD Science Tour

Program currently suspended.

Since 2006, DAAD has sponsored an annual information visit on current developments in the sciences in Germany, addressing various aspects of higher education, research funding, interdisciplinary cooperation and industrial application.

The program is focused on different areas of science every year and former topics have been: “Regenerative Energies in Germany: State of the Art and Opportunities for International Research Cooperation in Research and Higher Education” and Life Sciences in Germany: New Developments in Research, Interdisciplinary Cooperation and Higher Education”.

North American participants in this program are typically senior faculty, researchers and administrators from leading universities in the US and Canada, policy makers in national agencies, and other experts in the fields of science and higher education.
