The German university landscape is characterized by the variety of its institutions. The country’s research universities provide students with an education that combines coursework with research activities; universities of applied science focus on a practical, scientific approach to learning; Germany’s colleges of art, music and film train the next generation of artists and performers.

And every year the number of programs taught in English grows making education in Germany accessible to an ever greater number of students.  Add in the fact that German degrees are recognized the world over and it’s easy to see why Germany has become the world’s fourth most popular destination for international students.
