In the eyes of the DAAD, the end of a funding period marks the beginning of a long-standing relationship with us. We aim to stay in touch with our alumni as well as help you get to know one another through a series of programmes and activities. We also support you in setting up regional DAAD alumni clubs and other forms of networking opportunities.

DAAD North America will once again present webinars for students at universities in Canada & the US to provide details on our programs in support of study, research and internships in Germany in 2025-26.

The DAAD scholarship program „ERA Fellowships – Green Hydrogen“ supports German and international Master and PhD students as well as for Postdocs pursuing topics related to Green Hydrogen.

Application deadlines to a number of DAAD programs are fast approaching.

In honour of Germany hosting this year’s UEFA Men’s European Football Championship, DAAD invites students at Canadian universities to join the #DAADBracketChallenge. The winner will receive round trip airfare to Germany from Canada or the US!
