DAAD invites full-time Bachelor or Master’s students at Canadian or US universities to put their soccer knowledge to the test with this year’s DAAD Student Contest!

In honour of Germany hosting this year’s UEFA Men’s European Football Championship, we invite you to join the #DAADBracketChallenge. The winner will receive round trip airfare to Germany from Canada or the US!

The UEFA European Championship, aka EURO 2024 or the Euros, is a soccer tournament that takes place every four years that determines the continental champion of Europe. This year, it’s Germany’s turn to host the second most-watched tournament in soccer. Join the excitement and follow the tournament by entering the #DAADBracketChallenge!

First prize will win round trip airfare to anywhere in Germany, second prize will receive a free language course at the Goethe-Institut, and third prize will receive a Germany National Football Team shirt! See the official rules at the link below for more information on prizes.

Submit your bracket between Monday, May 13 at 9:00am EDT and Thursday, June 13 at 11:59pm EDT. The games begin on June 14, with the champion crowned one month later on July 14.
