Saarland University offers not only a stimulating and dynamic environment in which to study, but numerous other benefits, too. Many courses are organized as small-group sessions, which is why we can offer our students personal academic supervision throughout the entire duration of their studies. To maintain the high quality of our teaching, we regularly carry out academic quality audits. A particularly appealing feature is the range of international academic programmes with an integrated study-abroad phase leading to double-degree qualifications. With students and research scientists from more than 120 different countries on campus, our university is truly a global community. The Career Center can assist you with career planning, and its job portal allows you to search for employment opportunities as well as work placements and internships. Take a look at our broad range of innovative degree programmes and become part of our vibrant international community.

Advanced Materials Science and Engineering – AMASE (M.Sc.)

The international Master’s degree programme ’Advanced Materials Science and Engineering – AMASE’ is run by six European universities in Saarbrücken, Nancy, Luleå, Barcelona, Leoben and Padua. After completing your studies at two of our partner universities, you will be awarded a double degree. Students on the AMASE programme don’t just study materials science, they also benefit from our lifelong learning courses (e. g. ’career planning‘). Students take courses taught in two of the four most widely spoken European languages, which means that graduates from the programme are perfectly prepared for the European job market. AMASE students can receive Erasmus Mundus scholarships to finance their studies. Join the AMASE programme and become part of our extensive network of international partners in research and industry in Europe, America and Korea.
