Universität Hamburg is pleased to announce a call for applications to its 2017 Summer School: Particles, Strings and Cosmology. The summer school is a four-week, program covering core topics in physics. It also includes a German language course and many extracurricular activities.
The physics program covers topics such as general relativity, quantum field theory, particles, string theory, and cosmology and amounts to 65% of the coursework. Additional lectures highlight some of the excellent research in physics conducted at Universität Hamburg and by research institutions in the area. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to visit some of the world’s leading research institutions, such as the German Electron Synchrotron (DESY) and the Max Planck Institute for Structure and Dynamics of Matter (MPSD).
