  • Research Grants in Germany

    The research grant offers the opportunity to realise a research project in Germany. During a doctorate funding is available for 2 to 12 months, and in the early postdoc phase for 2 to 6 months.

    The DAAD funds this program using federal public resources. Unfortunately, the available budget for 2025 has already been fully allocated for a number of target countries. Applications for these countries can be submitted again from September 2025 onwards for the year 2026. The announcement date will be published in due course.
