Research in Germany is pleased to present a Virtual Career Fair with a focus on Germany’s Universities of Applied Sciences on Thursday, October 14th from 9 am to 1 pm EST.

Germany’s Universities of Applied Sciences occupy a unique place in the country’s post-secondary landscape and are best known for the applied natures of their study programs and the close connection between these institutions and regional employers.

Fields of study on offer at these schools include (but are not limited to): STEM, engineering, social sciences, informatics, public health, management, economics and design.

Attendees to this fair will have the opportunity to:

  • learn more about the  characteristics of UAS in Germany, including the subtypes and variations of these schools;
  • get details on study programs at UAS institutions – including Bachelor, Master’s and, in some cases, PhD degrees – directly from UAS representatives;
  • find out about entrance requirements and how to apply.
